Janco, Inc. has years of proven success in the manufacture of custom plastic and foam components and packaging for the medical industry. We employ superior medical grade materials for our medical manufacturing that can be custom molded, formed or machined to meet the most demanding medical applications.
Sometimes the quality of the smallest most seemingly insignificant things can be one of the most important aspects in a medical environment. Industries that depend on accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability can’t compromise when it comes to the little things—especially if the resources are there to make quality and reliability a simple choice.
When it comes to medical blister packaging, Janco offers those resources and more. With our advanced thermoforming processes we have been able to offer our clients reliability, durability, and quality assurance down to the most minute detail.
Being a contract packager puts Janco Inc., in a unique and privileged position. We have an extensive knowledge about medical devices and how they’re used—so we know exactly what medical clients are looking for when they need blister packaging. For example, our design department is not only aware of how blister packaging is presented in the O.R. by the circulating and sterile nurses, but they’re also in tune to how the devices are used.
When it comes to design, our industry specific knowledge puts us in a unique position as a thermo former and blister packaging—for most devices there isn’t the typical disconnect between the understanding of our designers and our clients, allowing us to get our customers what they need, faster and more accurately.
When it comes to material selection, our process revolves around what sterilization cycle your medical device will be exposed to. Once we know those specifications, the design phase begins—ensuring you get the precise product for your needs. Typical Materials for heat sealing and blister packaging include:
As for providing durable, reliable and – most importantly — secure covers and lids for blister packaging, we use coated paper, coated Tyvek® and foil lidstock. These materials and the methods in which we heatseal coat them ensure the highest level of protection and sterility. Please contact us at 603.742.1581 for more information.
