Volextra® Foam

Volextra® takes the already outstanding Volara® foam product and adds a number of valuable aesthetic and performance characteristics by incorporating a high performance extrusion coating that is permanently bonded to the foam. This coating shields the foam, making it even more resistant to chemicals, moisture, and abrasion. This makes Volextra® the perfect solution for demanding applications that call for enhanced aesthetic appeal, increased durability, and the high-performance advantages of Volara®.

At Janco Incorporated, Voltek foams can be die cut, waterjet cut, vacuum formed, compression molded, laminated, and more. Volextra® is available in all of the Volara® grades and in a wide range of thicknesses. Grades available include:

  • A – standard grade PE Volara® foam designed for superior thermal insulation for a number of applications.
  • AF – PE foam specifically designed to delivery high performance and flame retardation, used as a general purpose foam in a number of applications.
  • AS – Specially formulated PE foam to accommodate deep draw vacuum forming, as well as greater stability in heat.
  • EO – Volara® EVA foam engineered to deliver a higher level of flexibility and elasticity, combined with enhanced insulation properties and surface adhesion.
  • G – Volara® EVA foam engineered with the maximum level of softness and malleability in mind. Like the EO formulation, Volara® G also delivers better adhesive anchorage and excellent thermal stability.
  • LM – PP foam Designed specifically for improved hardness and thermal stability up to 270ºF.
  • M – Molding grade PE foam engineered for good compressibility. Stiffer and with greater temperature resistance than standard type A Volara®
  • TS – A blend of Foams engineered specifically for industrial tape, sealing, and gasket applications.
  • RSH – Volara® PP foam formulated with low-pressure foam molding in mind.
