As a medical contract packager, we frequently handle the kitting of consigned assembled devices that require packaging for terminal sterilization. What You Get: Our Quality Controlled Process

• The consigned device is inspected for quantity, cleanliness, and any obvious damage
• The medical devices are moved to an assigned quarantine cabinet where they await release to production and packaging
• All necessary components for kitting are released—including trays, cartons, labels, boxes, and whatever else is needed. This is an important step in our quality control process. If 100 medical devices are to be packaged, we only release the necessary amount of packaging to complete the 100 devices.
• Packaging begins, punctuated by constant controls to ensure quality and sterility.
