What Is Die Cutting?

Die cutting is a fabrication process that uses specialized tools and machines to convert stock material . We begin by making customized blades formed into a specific shape, called a die. The die is mounted onto a press, which uses pressure to cut, form or shear the material to create the desired shape.

At Janco, our precision, high-tolerance steel rule and forged die cutting equipment can score, cut, or produce perforated sheets. We can also die cut roll stock material into various shapes for your exact specifications. We also offer fabric die cutting services for cloth, paper, leather, fiber, and more.
