Manufacturing Capabilities
Depending on your needs, our team employs a wide range of capabilities within our facilities to manufacture your products, including:
Utilizing our two 3-axis routers, our engineers are also able to router plastic products rather than die-cutting them, which often offers faster and cleaner end-results, depending on the needs of your application.
Design Input
Design is an essential component in any manufacturing process. Our team works with you to settle on a design that’s both visually appealing and manufacturable.
While many types of athletic gear that we create in-house have relatively standard design needs, there are often still several ways to add customization and bring your distinct vision to life. Our team’s goal is always to add value to your bottom line and manufacture the best product possible in line with your vision.
Heat Stamping for Athletic Gear
Part of the customization process includes our use of heat-stamps to imprint logos, names, and other graphics directly onto your athletic gear or packaging. Using a strip of ink on a small, two-inch roll, we’re able to stamp custom imprints onto plastic.
Foam and Plastic Material Selection
The success of your product is largely dependent on selecting the right type of foam or plastic to manufacture it with. In some cases, the product itself will dictate which type of material is necessary.
When you have options, our team is happy to provide all of the information you need to make an educated decision that will result in a high-quality product.
For athletic manufacturing projects, we work with the following foams and plastics:
Foams:
- Closed-cell polyethylene foam
- Open-cell polyurethane foam
- Non-cross linked foam / TPO Foams (thermoplastic olefins)
Plastics:
- PET
- PETG
- PETE (Polyethylene terephthalate)
- HIPS (High impact polystyrene)
- TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethanes)
- Acrylic
- PVC (polyvinyl chloride)
- Kydex®, a trademarked acrylic/PVC alloy
- ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene)
- PC (polycarbonate)
