What is Volara foam?
Volara is a flexible, closed-cell, polyethylene foam that is cross-linked using a unique electron irradiation process that produces a continuous, smooth surface.
Volara polyethylene foam is FDA-compliant and perhaps most notable for being chemical resistant and having low water absorption, vapor transmission, and excellent thermal insulation which makes them a dependable, versatile, and aesthetically pleasing solution for both medical and non-medical uses.
On top of its excellent chemical resistance, Volara is also non-toxic and contains no chlorofluorocarbon, hydrochlorofluorocarbon, or hydrocarbon blowing agents.
Our team stocks 35 different grades and thicknesses of Volara to fit a wide range of your needs.
What is Volara foam used for?
Favored for being incredibly flexible, Volara’s uniform surface creates effective padding for a range of products. Most commonly, it’s used in the medical, industrial, and flooring industries.
Volara foam is a preferred foam for fragile goods because of its excellent vibration dampening and insulation properties.
Don’t let the Volara shortage grind your important projects to a halt.
