What is Volara foam?
Volara is a flexible, closed-cell, polyethylene foam that is cross-linked using a unique electron irradiation process that produces a continuous, smooth surface.
Volara polyethylene foam is FDA-compliant and perhaps most notable for being chemical resistant and having low water absorption, vapor transmission, and excellent thermal insulation which makes them a dependable, versatile, and aesthetically pleasing solution for both medical and non-medical uses.
On top of its excellent chemical resistance, Volara is also non-toxic and contains no chlorofluorocarbon, hydrochlorofluorocarbon, or hydrocarbon blowing agents.
